Online posters
Ira and Nastya made a poster about an osprey.
Endangered species project
In November we took part in an online project "Endangered Species" by British Council Schools Online Columbia.
First, the students found animals that are under threat and made posters about them.
Then we checked materials made by other schools:
Finally, the students discussed how they can help preserve the animals with their Science teacher and made posters to raise awareness in our school.
They prepared online posters on glogster.
At the last lesson we dicussed what they had learnt .
1.Was it difficult to find the information?
2 students answered "Yes",
7 students-"No", because they have Internet access at home.
2. Was it difficult to make a PowerPoint presentation about animals?
1 student said he knew how to do it,
8 students said they didn't know how to do it but they learnt from their classmates or the teacher,
1 student still doesn't know how to do it.
3. Can you upload video and audio files now?
6 students- "Yes",
4 students-"No"
